Privacy Policy

DogStack (“we”, “us”) operates this website at dogstack.show and the underlying product. This page explains what we collect, why, and what choices you have. Plain English first; legal language only where it earns its keep.

What we collect on this site

• Email + role + (optional) free-form text when you fill in the signup form, along with a timestamp and an identifier of the privacy notice you agreed to. Stored in our own first-party database (AWS DynamoDB, US region) so we can email you about DogStack — we don’t hand your signup to a third-party email vendor.
• Anonymous product analytics via PostHog (page views, clicks, performance). We mask all form inputs in session recordings. We do not send your email or any free-form text you write to PostHog.
• Standard server logs from our CDN (CloudFront) and our signup API: IP address, user-agent, request path, timestamp. For the signup API these are kept for 30 days, in logs separate from your subscriber record, and used only for security and abuse prevention — never for marketing.

What we do with it

• Send you email updates about DogStack until you unsubscribe.
• Improve the site (which sections people read, which buttons get clicked).
• Defend the site against abuse.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertising networks. We do not use it to build a profile of you across the web.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe from any email we send — link is in every message.
• Opt out of analytics by visiting any DogStack page with ?internal=1 appended to the URL. We’ll remember the choice in your browser.
• Ask to delete your data at any time by emailing info@dogstack.show.

Vendors

• PostHog — product analytics, US data region. Their policy is at posthog.com/privacy.
• AWS — hosting and first-party data storage (S3, CloudFront, Route 53, DynamoDB, Lambda), US regions. Your subscriber record lives here; we don’t share it with any third party.

Updates

We’ll change this page when the practice changes and update the “last updated” date above. Material changes will also be emailed to subscribers.
