Delete your DogStack account

You can delete your DogStack account (operated by DogStack LLC) at any time. Here’s how, and exactly what happens to your data.

How to request deletion

Use our contact form and ask us to delete your account, with Privacy request as the subject. Our link picks that subject for you. Give the email address on your account. We use it to confirm it’s really you, and we’ll reply there to confirm before we delete anything. Your account is fully deleted within 30 days of the request.

What gets deleted

• Your account. This is your email address and sign-in.
• Rings you follow. These are your saved / “watched” rings.
• Organizer access. These are the grants that let you manage shows you set up.

What we keep, and why

A few records outlive the account, for reasons both the law and Google Play allow. We keep them only as long as we need to, and they are no longer tied to an identifiable account:

• Payment and charge records. These are required for financial and tax record-keeping. (Your card details are never stored by us. Our payment processor, Stripe, holds the payer-side record.)
• Records that you accepted an agreement. These are kept for legal and compliance reasons (the record that a specific version was agreed to, and when).
• Published show and event information. This is public event information (rings, schedules, results). Once your account is gone it’s no longer linked to an identifiable person.
• Backups. Routine encrypted backups age out on their own, within about 35 days.
